This microwave high-voltage capacitor stores and releases energy in the high-voltage circuit to power the magnetron. Replacing a failed capacitor helps restore proper heating and protects other components in the high-voltage system.
I ordered the capacitor, diode, and magnetron in hopes that I would be able to complete the repair using the less expensive parts. I first removed the oven from the wall and then I removed the metal housing to access the internal parts. I discharged the capacitor using a pair of insulated needle nose pliers. Then I changed out the diode and the capacitor and reassembled the unit and tested it. It still did not heat so I disassembled the unit again and replaced the magnetron this time.... Read more

I ordered the part and was impressed to receive it within two day! I didn't need the screws I ordered (which I ordered just in case) but the trim was put on with no problem and my oven looks brand new again! Thank you! Read more
This is a replacement screw that can be used with many different types of household appliances. Screws fasten various pieces of machines together. They can also help to reduce the amount of vibration in the machine. If a screw is missing or damaged, it could cause a machine to stop working properly, or to vibrate more than it should. The screws are made from metal and will typically last for a long time. However, the threads and other parts of the screw can wear down with use. The screws could also become lost when making other repairs to the appliance. Replacement of the screws is generally easy, but it will depend on where it is placed. This item can replace certain screws found in various models of ranges, ovens, dryers, and microwaves from General Electric, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, and Kenmore. This is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. Owners may want to have several replacements on hand in case they need them.
I was very pleased to get the glass on time and it was a perfect match. The only thing I had trouble was to get the screws required to fix. The screws were not available, so spend too much time trying find equivalent screws in homedepot. Read more

Broiler won't heat up? This upper heating element restores high-heat broiling and surface browning. Takes about 15 minutes to replace with basic tools.
Ordered both elements and watched the video on the website. Followed the video and it took about 15 minutes. I found using a binder clip to keep the wires from falling back into the over works well Read more
Fix a convection fan that won't turn or hums but doesn't spin. This motor restores proper convection cooking. Moderate DIY repair with basic tools.
The motor hummed but the fan didn't turn. Clearly the brushes were burned out. I ordered a new fan, although I had to talk to a human at ApplianceParts because my model was not listed. The part was a perfect fit. The only problem is determining how to remove the over to reach the back, no instructions anywhere online. But trial and error eventually worked. You absolutely need a nut-driver that fits the hex head screws on the oven to remove panels covering the motor, but a cheap... Read more

Replacement screw for securing panels, brackets, and internal components in ranges, ovens, and cooktops. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws.
Replaces the false bottom panel that covers the lower oven interior. Needed when the original is discolored, warped, burnt, or damaged beyond cleaning.
Replaced it with a new one. Had to remove the oven door which was straight forward. The door's a little heavy so be sure to get a good hold and have a place prepared to set the door while you replace the bottom. False bottom simply slides in and out. Reinstalling the door is a little trickier than removing it. Mine was the bottom oven so I couldn't see the hinges align with oven slots. It helped to have some guide the hinges into the slots and confirm they were correctly set. Read more
This replacement mounting screw is used in cooking appliances to fasten components securely. It restores a tight, rattle-free fit so panels, brackets, or burner-related parts stay properly aligned during everyday use.
I did some research on my own and then spoke with the “Pros” at Appliance Parts Pros. Both confirmed the main board needed to be changed. The other less likely item was the oven sensor. I changed the sensor first as it was inexpensive. The error codes continued. Subsequently, I then changed the main board which was slightly difficult. When changing 2 screws hold the board in place on each front corner only. Also suggest you take a picture of wiring. I replaced wiring in place from old board to... Read more
