This high-voltage rectifier diode is used in the microwave's high-voltage circuit. It converts AC to DC so the magnetron can produce heat. A failed diode can cause no heat, loud humming, or a blown fuse when starting. What it does:
I replaced both the Magnetron and the high voltage diode. I now have a fully functional microwave. I received the parts on time and the quality was good. I would use appliance parts pro's again. Read more
This is the clear glass lens that covers the cooktop light on select GE over-the-range units. It shields the bulb from grease and splatters while allowing bright, even illumination of the cooking surface below.
We ordered the parts we needed & they came right away. My husband installed them the day they came. Voila! Perfect! Read more
This thermal cut-off installs in the bottom location and protects the appliance by interrupting power when excessive heat is detected. It helps prevent overheating-related damage to internal components.
Simple fix, after determining the fuse was good and not getting voltage to it, I followed the schematic and tested the TCO. It was the problem. Ordered it from APP and received it 5 days later. Changed the part and Voila, Microwave back in action. Read more
This AC synchronous motor powers the microwave's rotating mechanism—such as the mode stirrer or, on some models, the turntable—to circulate energy for more even cooking. Replacing a noisy, seized, or non-turning motor restores smooth rotation and consistent heating.
I replaced 3 parts and its like brand new. Read more
This hardware assembly secures designated components in your appliance, restoring a tight, rattle-free fit after service or wear. Replacing damaged or missing fasteners helps keep panels and parts aligned and operating as designed.
Removed the dozen or so screws on the microwave cabinet housing (top & 2 sides). Removed the 2 screws from the assembly holder hut bracket and replaced the assembly holder nut with a new one and re-installed the 2 screws. Re-installed the dozen or so screws on the cabinet. Finally re-installed the microwave with the 2 new 3-7/8'" long bolts thru the kitchen cabinet. Read more
The Fuse is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It serves as a safety device that protects the microwave by breaking the circuit if there is a power surge or electrical fault. This helps prevent damage to the microwave's components and ensures safe operation.
You should replace the fuse if it becomes blown or damaged. Causes of a bad fuse can include power surges, electrical faults, or issues within the microwave such as overheating. These factors can cause the fuse to blow, rendering the microwave inoperable.
Symptoms of a bad fuse include:
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
This replacement light socket restores safe, consistent power to the appliance light. If the original socket is heat-damaged, loose, or shorted, installing a new socket brings back reliable illumination and solid electrical contact.
Looked at youtube for a video of how to fix and it was very easy to follow. Worked perfectly! Read more
Guide roller (TT) supports the appliance drum and keeps it aligned for smooth rotation. Replacing a worn guide roller reduces noise, prevents rubbing, and helps restore proper drum tracking. What it does:
Called AppliancePartsPros and had to measure for the correct size needed. The size and model was required to find the right one. After five years of use the size was difficult to find, and the price was a little high, but it was all I could find. They were very helpful and courteous to get the one I needed. It fit perfectly. QThank you for the prompt delivery. Read more
This mounting plate assembly is the rear wall bracket that supports and secures the microwave during installation. Replacing a bent or missing plate ensures a safe, level mount and stable operation without vibration or shifting.
Bought these two pieces through Appliance Parts Pro - they matched exactly at half the cost. Shipped same day. Read more
This turntable coupler connects the microwave's turntable motor to the glass tray to drive smooth rotation during cooking. Replacing a worn coupler restores even heating and prevents the tray from slipping, stalling, or wobbling. What it does:
Unplug your microwave. Took the screws off of the bottom of the unit with it still on the cabinet. The whole bottom panel swung down to expose the turntable motor. I took the power cable loose (just pull it off). It was one screw to take the motor out. Word to the wise: DON'T try to take the plastic coupler off before the motor. Their is a tab that holds it in while the motor is in place. If you pry it up you will break it, trust me. ;) Turn the motor out of its housing and it come right out.... Read more
This hood damper assembly opens to allow exhaust airflow and closes to help block outside drafts and odors when the fan is off. It restores proper venting and prevents back-drafts in over-the-range hoods and microwaves. What it does:
I ordered a new damper assembly. It was easy to find which part was needed using the exploded parts view of the microwave available on the website. When the part arrived, it just slipped into position under flanges on the microwave. Read more
Magnetron with thermal fuse.
This latch body is the door latch component that secures the appliance door during operation, restoring reliable closure so cycles can run normally. Use it to replace a worn or damaged latch that won't hold the door closed. What it does:
Replaced all three door switches and bracket. It had a break in it. Took less than an hour to fix once all parts arrived. Read more
This gas sensor monitors moisture levels during sensor-cook cycles so the control can adjust time and power for consistent results. Replacing a failed sensor restores reliable sensor-cook performance. What it does:
The Door Key is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It is responsible for securely holding the microwave door closed during operation. A sturdy and reliable latching mechanism is important for safety and to prevent leaks of electromagnetic radiation.
Causes of a bad latch can include worn or damaged parts due to normal wear and tear over time. The mechanism undergoes a lot of opening and closing stress with repeated use. Impacts from improper handling can also damage latch components.
Symptoms of a bad latch include:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
This stainless steel microwave door handle restores a solid, comfortable grip for opening and closing the door and refreshes the appliance's appearance when the original handle is damaged or worn.
