This foam filter block fits into its designated cavity to help screen debris and cushion adjoining components. Replacing a worn or missing block helps maintain proper airflow paths and can reduce vibration-related noise.
My fridge had a loud noise when getting water, low water flow. I replaced the water filter head and everything was addressed. It worked perfectly, quick and easy repair. I needed the block-fill foam piece, since the original one broke during the repair. Shipping was fast. The repair video from Appliance Parts Pros helped a lot too. Thanks! Read more
This fan motor retainer secures the refrigerator's fan motor to its mounting bracket or shroud, reducing vibration and keeping the fan aligned so air circulates properly for consistent cooling.

A temperature-sensitive switch that controls the automatic defrost cycle in the refrigerator's freezer section. Located near the evaporator coils, replace when ice builds up excessively in the freezer or the defrost cycle fails to activate properly.
Ordered and replaced defrost timer and bimetal defrost switch. Defrosted the freezer coils. Got to timer on top of unit. Removed timer. NO instructions with new timer!! Ohmed new timer to figure what the loose timer wire tied to. Compared to schematic and decided on connecting it to 2 (pink). Put it all together along with the bimetal switch. Checked continuity of heaters. Seemed to be cooling properly but could not hang around for a defrost cycle. Will check again soon to... Read more
