This is a temperature sensor that monitors the internal temperature of the refrigerator compartment and sends readings to the main control board. I found the condensing fan motor would not turn with power applied. I also found a drain tube cracked and breaking. I had to use a snub nose screwdriver to remove and replace condensing fan motor.
