When I ordered the correct part from Appliance Parts Pro and, here's the big takeaway, I watched the accompanying video. With this repair there were 4 connectors coming thru 2 openings of the rear oven wall. In the video it advised to tie a twist tie around each so they couldn't slip back into the rear panel. The hidden bake element accessed from the side of the oven was clearly done...not only did it not test for continuity, but when I removed it, there was a clean break where it had failed. Frequent referral to your tutorial video was extremely useful. In the video at 0.90 had trouble lifting the over door off. At 4.00 in video the factory installed insulation in our stove was doubled on itself and therefore only covered half of the perimeter of the insulation channel. Factory goof. Reassembly at 4.25 in video have to be certain BOTH sides of tabs engage large flat pan, since I took off both hinges. Not quite obvious in video if both door hinges were removed. Read more
