Oven display began flickering, then fading to completely black, but still functioned for some time. When oven was on broil or high heat for too long the display would flicker back on, and enter commands on its own. Gas stove spark ignition electrode includes retaining clip for mounting.
Sealed burner gas cooktop has to be removed from the counter top in order to disassemble. This means disconnecting the gas line. To disassemble the unit you will have to remove the gas line regulator. Once the unit is separated you will see the spark module. I replaced the module. Note: Because the new module has been updated from the original it does look different. I suggest you put the new module along side the old taking one wire at a time from the old to the new. Replaced the igniter element and it worked. Despite the old igniter was still glowing red hot upon power up and the resistance test also showed that there is still a continuity between the igniter element. Thanks to your online technical support for helping me diagnosed the issue. Read more

Frequent referral to your tutorial video was extremely useful. In the video at 0.90 had trouble lifting the over door off. At 4.00 in video the factory installed insulation in our stove was doubled on itself and therefore only covered half of the perimeter of the insulation channel. Factory goof. Reassembly at 4.25 in video have to be certain BOTH sides of tabs engage large flat pan, since I took off both hinges. Not quite obvious in video if both door hinges were removed. Read more
