This door glass seal replaces the soft gasket that fits around the inner oven door glass to help keep heat and smoke inside the oven cavity for safer, more efficient cooking. It restores a better seal and reduces heat loss around the door. What it does:
- Seals the gap between the inner oven door glass and door frame to limit heat and smoke escape
- Helps maintain oven temperature stability for consistent cooking results
- Reduces heat transfer to the surrounding cabinetry and control area
- Can improve oven efficiency if the old seal is cracked, compressed, or missing
What's included:
Install notes:
- For safest results, replace with the oven powered off and fully cooled; disconnect power at the breaker when required
- Inspect surrounding door glass and clips before reassembly; replace any damaged parts to ensure a proper seal
- Work carefully to avoid scratching the glass or bending metal door components

Although it took longer than expected (about two hours) it was not difficult.

I have tried to remove the burner assemblies by removing the torx screws but they were badly rusted, and unfortunately they all were broken during removal. I just discarded the ruined orifices and assembled the new orifices and burner assembly.

Ttwelve year old gas range had intermittent uncommanded inputs beeping f2:e0 code etc cycling power temporarily fixed but problem returned Louis M. • Chesapeake , VA • August 17, 2015

I ordered, received and replaced the console, but a day later the original problems returned. I then ordered, received and replaced the microcomputer (using the old control console). The gas range now operates fine; all functions work with no uncommanded inputs. I am in the process of returning the...
