This adjustable control mechanism regulates moisture levels in refrigerator crisper drawers to keep produce fresh. Located inside crisper drawers, replacement is needed if the slide doesn't move smoothly, settings don't affect humidity, or if produce wilts or dries out quickly.
It was just a door tray. I simply put it in place. I entered my appliance manufacturer and model number, entered the part I needed and they sent the right part. Sounds easy doesn't it? I tried another company first did the same thing and got the wrong part and it looked used. I sent it back (at my expense) with their RMA and a month later still, I'm still waiting for a refund. Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy.
