This small plastic clip secures the tine row guards or protective caps on the dishwasher's upper or lower dishrack. It keeps the vinyl guard strips in place so they can protect dishes from scratching and prevent the rack tines from rusting. Replace this clip if the guard strips are falling off, sliding out of position, or if the original clip has cracked or broken.

Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair.
