I ordered the Door Switch Kit, along with a few other items. However, the switch kit was all that was needed. Isimply followed the instructions that came with the kit. It was necessary to cut the wires which connected to the wire assembly in the door of the dishwasher. I then connected the pieces from the switch kit and then connected the end pieces to the door. I closed the door, and started up the dishwasher. It worked as well as before. Read more

Ordered new inlet water valve and float switch kit. After repairs it now works fine. However the water inlet valve outlet end for fill hose (not water source) and wire connections (supposedly for this unit) were oriented 180 degrees opposite. I had to gently remove the blue plastic valve off the metal support bracket and turn it around and press back in place. Fortunately it appears it was designed for either orientation. This small plastic clip prevents your dishwasher's upper dish rack from sliding too far forward when pulled out. It stops the rack at the proper position to prevent it from falling out completely. Replace this clip if your upper rack slides out too far or falls off its tracks when loaded with dishes.

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. Called Lowes to get it repaired. They sent out a company that was on their approved list. $255.00 and two weeks later it quit again. Opened the panel and the service technican had installed what appears to be a clothes dryer Thermal fuse. I got online and ordered the proper fuse, $27.79 including shipping which arrived in two days via Fedex and installed the new proper fuse. I might add that I am a retired SBC systems technican. This dishwasher thermistor is a temperature sensor that monitors water temperature during wash and rinse cycles. It sends temperature readings to the control board to ensure proper heating for effective cleaning and sanitizing.
