This upper rack adjuster sets and secures the dishwasher's top rack height so dishes clear the spray arms and load properly. When the adjuster wears or breaks, the rack can become uneven or stuck, leading to poor cleaning and loading issues.
- Provides the mechanism to raise/lower and lock the upper dishrack height
- Keeps the top rack level and secured to the rail during operation
- Common symptoms of failure: rack drops on one side, won't adjust, feels loose, or comes off the track
- Contribute to poor wash results when the rack can't be positioned correctly
What's included: 1 upper rack adjuster assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water supply before servicing
- Remove upper rack end caps/stops and slide the rack out to access the adjuster
- Release or unfasten the old adjuster, transfer any reusable clips/wheels if applicable, and install the new adjuster
- Set both sides of the rack to the same height; reinstall rack and confirm smooth travel and secure locking

Ordered tracks and adjusters via chat. Adjusters were not needed so I returned them. The repair was very easy. Had to slide out the dishwasher and remove four screws holding each track. Installed new tracks and put dishwasher back in place.

I bought the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Removed water inlet hose. Removed water outlet hose. Removed water inlet valve which was held on with one screw. Replaced the water inlet value. Reattached both hoses. It leaked a little bit, so I had to put plumbing tape and really make it tight. Then the leaked stopped.
