Figured it was either the capacitor and/or motor. Ordered both parts to be sure. tried changing the capacitor first; same problem. Replaced the motor (leaving the new capacitor in place). Unit now works fine. Overall an easy fix once you get the washer out and tip it on its side or top to get access to the motor area. Read more

Replaced Air Vent (+gasket). (Based on some googled descriptions of how.) Took out several screws in the vicinity of the vent on upper left of door. These are specialized torx screw heads. Released inner panel enough for air vent to slide out. It is held to the panel by the louvered round cover. Twist the cover to the left to remove it and the Air Vent comes loose. I bought the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Removed water inlet hose. Removed water outlet hose. Removed water inlet valve which was held on with one screw. Replaced the water inlet value.
