This tub ring seal sits between the washer's outer tub and the tub ring. It creates a splash-resistant barrier at the top of the tub to keep wash water contained and help prevent leaks from the cabinet area.

• Seals the perimeter joint between the tub ring and outer tub
• Helps prevent water splashes from escaping during agitation and spin
• May help if you notice water around the lid/top of the cabinet
• Replace when the gasket is torn, brittle, or permanently compressed

• Unplug the washer and shut off the water supply before servicing
• Lift the top or remove the cabinet to access the tub ring (varies by model)
• Remove the tub ring; clean mating surfaces; seat the new seal evenly without twists
• Reassemble and run a short fill/agitate test to check for leaks
