This bearing supports the spin basket (inner tub) in top-load washers, allowing it to rotate smoothly during the spin cycle. Small drive gear inside the washer transmission gearcase that meshes with mating gears. Replace when worn, stripped, or damaged to restore power transfer.
American appliances are very easy to fix in comparison to imported ones. Just open the washer and take de transmission cover out change the pinion inside removing a simple retainer. In the agitator there is a screw that you loosen it take it out, then de tub and take the shaft out and put a new seal and a new c clamp and reinstall everything back. Top-loading washers are very easy to fix in comparison to front-loading washers that are very difficult to fix. Read more
Spin tube assembly with drive spacer, bearing, and shaft seals. Replace if washer leaks from bottom or basket doesn't spin properly. Verify fit.
