This is a water inlet guide assembly that directs incoming water into the dishwasher tub during the fill cycle. It channels water from the inlet valve to the proper location inside the wash chamber for effective cleaning. Replace this part if you notice water leaking around the inlet area, poor fill performance, or visible cracks and damage to the guide.

The solenoid that opened the air vent for drying was broken so it was open during the wash cycle allowing water to escape into the air duct. Found the part at SearsParts and AppliancePartsPro, and Sears was $15 more expensive. I replaced the dishwasher circulation motor. I also replaced the impeller assembly, although it turns out that was not necessary.
