Marvin L Sandy , UT November 09, 2014 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDS4821ST Loud grinding sound motor rattling My project involved replacing the sump assembly and main motor on my LG dishwasher. The parts arrive in about 2-3 days. Wow, FAST! With the help of videos from LG I knew what to do. The trick with the whole project was ensuring that I transferred ALL gaskets from the old sump assembly to the new one. I missed transferring one around a sensor, then did not get the gasket around the pump motor properly. Once all those were correct all leaks stopped, new motor is whisper quiet (all I hear now is the swoosh of the washer arms). I am a happy camper again. My project would have taken me about an hour, but due to my mistakes it took me seven. Adrian L Sulphur , LA August 26, 2018 Appliance: Model LDF6920ST (ASTEEUS) Motor shaft worn and squeals Replaced the motor. Then after I noticed the shaft was scared I ordered a new sump. Some where along the line I had damaged the discharge hose. So had to replace it as well. But everything went well and she’s up and running great. What really appreciate is the way your site is setup with the diagrams and videos along with the ease in looking up parts and ordering. You folks are great on timely shipping. That is much appreciated. I am sure other appliance problems will occur, that’s just life, but I am glad I have you to call upon. Overall cost, has been a no brainier. Thank you.
