Ice maker not working or fridge warming unevenly? This fan motor circulates cold air throughout your refrigerator. DIY-friendly repair in 1-2 hours.
OMG, there were videos to tell me just how and what to take off to get to the repair. It was amazing. It was a challenge knowing I could do it as a woman. We ended up changing about 6 to 8 parts..ice maker, water valve, three fans, thermostats. Was about to change out the control board when I found out the compressor was still in warranty. There was a little light on the control board which appliancepartspros personnel even walked me thru that it was either the control board or the... Read more

...after our refrigerator stopped working one of these mornings, I googled the symptom and was steered to a page where I was able to determine the possible culprit. To verify it, I left my cel recording inside and saw that the light stayed on. I was then directed to ALLPARTSPRO.COM, and was able to chat with a Rep, and after a short explanation told me to replace just the "push switchs"; so ordered them, plus the "light lens" and "cover", which had all melted for continuous lighting spanning... Roller component for the ice dispenser door handle on bottom-mount refrigerators. Replaces broken, worn, or missing rollers. Ensures smooth handle operation.
Threaded bases for two roller screws were ~ 80% broken off. Used a short (just barely extends past the end of the roller) sheet metal screw to secure the roller in the upper sliding section of the handle (handle in place first). The head was thick enough to fill the gap between the roller and the cover. Filling that gap accurately is important. Need to keep the roller pushed into the recessed area in the door. (Do a test fit with the parts before trying to install them on the door). Turn the... Read more

Refrigerator won't cool or compressor won't start? This run capacitor provides the electrical boost needed for smooth compressor operation. DIY repair.
Unplugged frig to check connections, everything was ok. When I plugged it back in, nothing worked and the display and ice maker were flickering and clicking. Unplugged the display connector on the main board and could hear clicking from the main board itself. Replacing the main board and capacitor fixed it. I only replaced the capacitor as a precaution. it may not have been bad, but I did it for good measure. Everything is working great now and I don't have to buy a new refrigerator. Read more
Refrigerator not cooling or running warm? A faulty condenser fan motor assembly prevents proper airflow across the condenser. Includes motor and blade.
Spring that tensions the ice dispenser door for proper closing and airtight seal. Replace if door won't close or ice gets stuck. Verify fit with model.
I am so, so grateful to AppliancePartsPros.com for including the DIY videos with their parts schematics. "Simon" gave me the encouragement to tackle the repairs on my LG refrigerator myself. I simply listened to/watched the videos and replaced both the spring and the entire water/ice dispenser assembly. I will admit though, removing and replacing the dispenser assembly was a little challenging. I was very cautious not to break the plastic tabs. However, after completing the repairs I was...
