The drive belt on my maytag washing machine was worn out Donnie B. • Campobelly , SC • July 23, 2014
I Purchased a new belt and replaced it. If I had not watched the video telling me how it is done the job would have been much more difficult. After watching the video I changed the belt in less than 2 minutes. I ordered the belt from Appliance Parts Pros and got it the next day. I am thankful that when I started my search I landed on your web site.
Thanks for the quick service and the video.

Washer squeaked when tub is stopped during spin cycle Daniel K. • Grafton , WI • July 22, 2018
My Maytag washer make a loud screech when the washer tub needed to be stopped by the brake. Last year, I had replaced the suspension springs, the snubber ring, the drive belt and the drain pump. Those repairs worked fine, but a few weeks later, the screeching noise started. So I figured it was the brake system. I thought it would be better to replace the brake rotor and stator together as a set since I was going to disassemble both and they were 18 years old anyway. I decided to replace the...

Loud knocking and rattle while in spin cycle. Daniel K. • Grafton , WI • July 30, 2017
18 year old Maytag Atlantis top load washer had a load knocking and rattle sound with excessive vibration when the tub was spinning, but not when it was agitating. They was no water leaking. I took the front panel off and carefully listened while I ran a cycle and the loud sound sounded like it was coming from the drain pump. So I took off the drive belt and noticed that it was glazed and that there was belt material on the drain pump and tub transmission pulleys. I removed the drain pump and...

The pump on my washing machine went bad William P. • El Paso , TX • April 26, 2014
It was a relatively easy fix. Removed the small access panel at the back of the washing machine after unplugging the unit. The pump is right there. Disconnected the two hoses to the pump, catching some water with towels. Removed three retaining screws, then realized I had not disconnected the belt from under the unit. Easy fix, tilted the unit and disconnected the belt. Put in the new pump , connected the hoses, then reconnected the belts. Works like new!

Watched the video, which was well done, and followed those steps quickly and easily. All done. The postscript is that I found the part of...
