Removed the freezer drawers, ice maker, and panel that the fan motor is attached to. Changed out the fan motor reinstalled everything and plugged it in, and presto. I had ordered the control board just in case but didn't need it. The fan motor wasn't the easier part to replace but it was the cheaper of the two.
