Fix a burnt or melted lid switch connector causing your washer to be completely dead. This terminal receptacle restores power to the lid switch.
Researched this kenmore washer on-line and found the problem to be the lid switch. Saw a diagram on how to jump this switch by connecting a wire to both outside wires on the harness and voila! It worked! This is not a fix but it allowed me to finish the load of unwashed clothes and told me which part was bad (do not run washer jumped like this.......fire hazard!) Ordered the lid switch and it was an easy repair. A $14.00 switch was a lot cheaper than a $450.00 washer. Thanks appliance parts... Read more

21-inch drain hose extension for washers. Extends existing drain hose when original is too short to reach standpipe. Includes clamp for secure fit.
Ordered a new drain hose and extension part. The prices including shipping were more reasonable than driving back and forth to the store just to piece meal parts together. Very frustrating. I ordered the parts that were specific to our washing machine, it took maybe 5 minutes to install, and everything fit perfectly. Now we're washing again and no leaks! Read more
Fixes grinding noise or basket won't spin issues by disengaging the brake during spin cycles. Restores smooth operation when cam wears out or breaks.
First I looked at the many you tube vids, and there are many. appliance parts pros pretty much shows you how to deal with the parts. I changed the brake shoes and the clutch assembly which also comes with the driver cam. I also changed the metal brake operating cam. I think that brake lockup or improper brake release was the problem that broke the plastic cam driver. This was the broken plastic part making all the ticking noise. I first changed the coupling on the motor but that wasn't bad. in... Read more

Dryer won't signal when cycle ends or buzzer stuck on? This adjustable buzzer kit restores audible alerts for timers and notifications. DIY install.
I was looking for a parts sight and found yours. I started to watch all the video tutorials on each part and the "check these connections first video". Well by doing this I was able to find the source of my problem. What I thought was the heating coil not working right, ended up being the timer that was bad!!! I am so very happy with your sight and the step by step videos that were the success to being able to do this on my own. Read more
Secures wiring harness to washer top panel. Replace this clip if original is broken, missing, or no longer holding wires firmly in place during operation.
Fixing the problem was quite simple. First, I removed the lid assembly (thanks to the diagrams supplied by AppliancePartsPros.com!). Getting the back two screws out was very difficult because I couldn't see them from the front and I could not move the unit out of the enclosed space. After some trial and error, I located the screws which were 5/16 hex head screws and removed them with a MAGNETIC nut driver. (The magnet assures that the screw will not drop down into the mechanism). Second, I... Read more
Replacement inner tub spin basket for washers. Holds clothes during wash and spin cycles. Replace if cracked, rusted, porcelain coating damaged, or worn.
Replaced the Inner Tub Basket. We watched the video, ordered the parts, and swapped out the basket in a breeze. We were very surprised, and pleased, with how easy the repair was. This saved me labor costs not having to hire a repairman, and, worst case scenario, saved me from having to buy a new washing machine. Read more
Fix a washer that won't fill or agitate properly with this 3-circuit pressure switch connector. Simple DIY repair in under 30 minutes with basic tools.
Watched on line Video. Only problem was in disconnecting wire "bus" connector from switch. I was unable to remove connector without damaging it. I "jumped" connector to prove switch was faulty. This also allowed my wife to continue to do laundry while part arrived. I ordered a 3 circuit connector, but this was not the correct part. I ended up removing 3 wires from old broken connector and attaching them to new switch without a connector. Electrical tape did the trick. Not perfect... Read more
