I am so very happy with your sight and the step by step videos that were the success to being able to do this on my own. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Pretty much everything   Charlotteanne Y. • Kingston , IL • August 06, 2018

Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Since the refriigerator is still in the middle of the kitchen, I don't need to tear apart another room. Nevertheless, let me say this, I love my "older"... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Control board shorted out during drying cycle with a series of loud popping noises creating a blackened corner of the dishwasher door a pungent electircal fire smell and tripped circuit breaker   Charles L. • Concord , MA • November 01, 2014

Replaced the control board after removing the inner door liner, plastice board cover and board itself, by removing screws, working various plastic clips/tabs and unclipping wire harnesses from board. most of time was spent cleaning the black soot from the door, which had a terrible burnt electrical/plastic fire smell. Cleaned mold/scale off of as much of the door as I could while in there as well. Removing parts without breaking plastic tabs to hold the new parts was trickiest part. Read more

Not one to patch a job, I ordered all seal kit, bearing kit, new shaft keeper, transmission oil, spanner wrench.
