Christopher H San Diego , CA February 11, 2016 Appliance: Maytag Stacked Laundry- Gas LSG7804AAE Washer would not fill agitate or spin dryer worked fine After some research and some testing with a multimeter, it turned out the lid check switch was bad. Instead of purchasing the entire switch assembly, I purchased just the switch that was bad. The lid switch assembly is easy to disassemble, but requires removing the spring loaded lever to remove the lid cover switch. This is wall current, so make sure you unplug! Trundled myself off Fry's and picked up a pack of fuses ( 1 amp, 120v/230v. ~$4 for 5 of them). Replaced the fuse, and immediately blew one when testing the switches by pressing them in a bad combination. Replaced the fuse again, reassembled, and everything works fine. Clean clothes again! The whole project took perhaps 1-2 hours, including the time to research, disassemble, troubleshoot and reassemble.
