I ordered a door/lid switch kit and an actuator and replaced them both. I probably didn't need the actuator, but it probably didn't hurt to replace it. The only issue I had was that the switch didn't seem to fit that well when installed on it's own, along with the actuator. The repair sounds easy, doesn't it? It would have been, except that I actually had to do laundry while waiting for the part to arrive. So, I was using a pair of channel locks to turn the exposed bolt/post sticking out in order to turn the washing machine on. In doing so, I actually crushed part of the thread on the bolt, so the starter knob wouldn't screw on! In order to screw on the new starter knob, I had to buy a special nut which rethreaded the bolt. Replaced 4 of the suspension springs with new brackets. I looked up my washer, looked at the diagrams, watched your video which made things a lot easier! Took the washer apart, found the problem, ordered the parts from you and the washer was put back together and working within 3 days! Love your website!
