I had a lot of problems removing the spin hub, I had to use an air impact wrench to un screw it even then it was very hard, it did not go easy with the hammer & pipe wrench as shown in the video. It was also very hard to remove the bottom spin bearing I had to cut the bearing retainer with a dremel tool so I could get my puller on it. Disassembled the back cover, unplugged the touchscreen control panel, removed the front panel, and finally removed the top panel to access the exterior of the drum. I removed the old screws & installed the new baffles to the drum, then reassembled everything. Read more

After checking all the common reasons (vent, element, fuses, temp sensors, etc.), the only thing left was the Dryness Monitor. The "LESS" light came on, but the ""HIGH" light didn't. Removed the 5 screws on the rear cover, disconnected the 4 wire & single wire plugs and the unit just snaps out. Since my dryer is Almond colored and the part was for a White dryer, I took the one screw out holding the board and transferred it to the original housing. Replaced all seals, unfortunately it is still leaking. I can see where it is leaking from. I am going to tear it back down use some ultra grey gasket maker and reinstall tub gasket. Hoping that works. If it still leaks I will be using the washer as a large paper weight. Read more
My Maytag washer make a loud screech when the washer tub needed to be stopped by the brake. Last year, I had replaced the suspension springs, the snubber ring, the drive belt and the drain pump.
