This safety interlock switch prevents your range from operating when the door is open or not properly secured. It ensures the appliance only functions when it's safe to do so by detecting door position. Replace this switch when your range won't start even with the door closed, or continues running when the door is opened.
This decorative trim piece covers the right end of a range where it meets cabinetry or walls. Replace if the cap is cracked, discolored, or missing to maintain a finished appearance.
