Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. Oven won't heat or cycles incorrectly? This thermostat senses cavity temperature and regulates heat for consistent cooking. Moderate DIY repair.
Replaced thermostat. Biggest challenge was how to feed the thermostat from the back of the stove into the oven. I found the easiest way is to tie a string onto the existing thermostat in the oven before it is removed. When the existing thermostat is pulled out the back un-tie the string and tie it on the new thermostat then pull the string from in the oven to draw the new thermostat through the hole. Read more
