This is a small retainer clip in a biscuit (bisque) color used to secure the access panel on the front of a dishwasher. It snaps into place to hold the lower access panel firmly against the dishwasher frame. Replace this clip if the access panel is loose, rattling, or won't stay in position due to a broken or missing retainer.

I bought the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Removed water inlet hose. Removed water outlet hose. Removed water inlet valve which was held on with one screw. Replaced the water inlet value. Reattached both hoses. It leaked a little bit, so I had to put plumbing tape and really make it tight. Then the leaked stopped. Read more
