This door spring provides the tension that counterbalances the appliance door, allowing smooth, controlled opening and closing. Replacing a fatigued or broken spring restores proper door action and helps prevent the door from dropping or slamming. What it does:
So I noticed a few months ago that the dishwasher door felt a lot heavier than it used to. Then just recently I opened it and heard something snap and the door came crashing down onto my foot! Ouch!! The door was still able to close but opening it required it being fully lowered by hand. I had no idea how heavy the dishwasher door was! So I got down onto the kitchen floor with a flashlight. I removed the metal panel at it’s base by lifting it up and pulling it out. Once I was able to get a... Read more
This small rubber grommet seals the opening around the dishwasher's detergent/rinse-aid dispenser, helping prevent leaks and moisture intrusion so the dispenser operates reliably throughout the wash cycle.
After discovering your web site and reading of others issues I ordered a door seal (my old one was a little short on the right side) a detergent door grommet, and the 2 water deflectors ( I decided to cover all the bases while I was at it. This O-ring seal fits into a groove to create a tight, leak-resistant barrier where two parts join. Replacing a worn O-ring helps stop drips at connections and keeps your appliance running reliably. What it does:
I first wanted to get the dishwasher running, before ordering the spring links. So I disassembled the pump / motor assembly to determine the reason the motor would not start. My wife cleaned all of the parts in the pump assembly. I took the motor apart and discovered that the lower bearing ( a sleeve type bearing) was dry and dirty, and was the culprit for the motor seizing. I cleaned up the bearing and lubricated it with SAE 20W. I also packed felt inside the cavity adjacent to the bearing.... Read more
This top wash arm retainer secures the dishwasher's upper spray arm so it spins freely and stays aligned, helping maintain proper water distribution for upper-rack cleaning. Replace a cracked or worn retainer to reduce wobble and misalignment. What it does:
Spun each of the three wash arms by hand. All could be made to touch/scrape but the top one was super wabbly. Ordered both the arm and clip. Repair took less than a minute. Used a screwdriver to pry loose one side of the old clip to remove. Aligned the new parts and easily snapped into place. Read more

Replaced rack adjuster assembly on both sides. Easy repair, and the parts arrived within 2 days. Replacement parts appear to be better designed to prevent the roller shafts from failing. Hint: The rollers on the top rack seem to be the same. I removed and saved the rollers and shafts from the old parts in the event I have to replace those on the top rack someday. Read more
