Whirlpool WP99001788 Lower Washarm OEM Part

Found the retaining clip on the parts list. Watched the videos to figure out how the upper arm attaches. Tried cleaning out the terribly clogged upper arm. Then looked at the lower wash arm--WOW! Talk about ugly clogs! Watched second video to see how that lower arm comes off. Got the lower arm off and realized all the gunk I was able to poke out of the holes would just come back, so replaced both spray arms. YES, the upper arm includes the retaining clip!! Parts arrived in 1.5 days. Installation was a snap. BUT--now the increased spray action reactivated a semi-dormant door leak. Ended up replacing the door gasket, which stopped the leak. YAY! DW back to like new!! Thanks to APPros.com!!

Actually bought a new arm from your Co.. Before changing it out , I ran several dish machine cleaners, plus a 1/2 cup of white vinegar into each 'rinse' cycle. That did improve the wash results, but not good. I actually found many pieces of a paper towel, and some cellophane.

I watched the video first, then I exchanged the new guard filter and lower washer arm parts and it was done. I am glad I watched the video to know that I had to retain the end shields. I probably would have discarded them if I had not watched the video. . Saved myself a service call fee. The parts arrived in 3 days which was nice. .

I was able to find the parts I thought I needed to fix my dishwasher here. The website was easy to use and the parts were shipped and recieved within 3 days!!!! ")
