I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt.The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. Note: New rack no longer includes removable tines or cup shelf. This part is a lower dishrack. The lower dishrack is the lower shelf of a dishwasher that holds plates, bowls, and utensils. To remove the old dishrack, simply pull it out and lift the wheels up from its track. Set it off the side, and lift the new dishrack. Slide it into its track and make sure it is locked in. Part I ordered was not the problem. The corners of the dishwasher were loaded with garbage, grease and other foodstuffs. I digitally cleaned out the corners, re-seated the door seal and used a cleaner in the machine. Did two courses of cleaning. Also needed to clean the pump screen and top of the pump. Lots of junk there. All of this fixed the leaking and the junk on the dishes. Hardest part was loosening the duct from the top impeller to the pump. Read more
