Changing baskets is no-brainer job, as they come complete with all plastics and rollers. Upper slides require removal of the stoppers, but this is easy task, just squeeze them and pull back. After replacing the basket, insert them back. Heating coil is a different story. After chasing Internet for the advise, I found instruction: Remove front bottom cover. Part I ordered was not the problem. The corners of the dishwasher were loaded with garbage, grease and other foodstuffs. I digitally cleaned out the corners, re-seated the door seal and used a cleaner in the machine. Did two courses of cleaning. Also needed to clean the pump screen and top of the pump. Lots of junk there. All of this fixed the leaking and the junk on the dishes. Hardest part was loosening the duct from the top impeller to the pump. Read more
Ordered the part. Arrived the next day. Took the eleven screws off the door exposing the back of the Soap/Rinse Aid dispenser. Six screws hold it on the inside of the door. Popped off easily. There is a plug that runs from the timer to the dispenser…it's a pain to get off. Use a flat head screw driver. Screwed the new unit in place. Plugged it in. Put the door back together. I accidentally caught the door catch in the door and screwed it together seizing it...so I had to take the top screws off... Read more
