I found a link on the internet that said the ribbon connector in the Maytag dishwashers corrode and short out. They said you could do a cheap fix by cleaning the corrosion off the "printed circuit wiring" on the ribbon connector and resealing the "wires" with liquid electrical tape. I went through their fix and dishwasher still did not work. Bought the control panel part (from you) which has a new ribbon connector, installed the control panel and the dishwasher now works! Changing baskets is no-brainer job, as they come complete with all plastics and rollers. Upper slides require removal of the stoppers, but this is easy task, just squeeze them and pull back. After replacing the basket, insert them back. Heating coil is a different story. After chasing Internet for the advise, I found instruction: Remove front bottom cover.
