Using one of your videos, I used a circuit tester to determine if the element was intact. It was faulty. Getting the part from you went well. Finding the serial numbers using your guidelines, allowed me to order the right replacement heating element. It was just a few days and the part was delivered - everything that I needed. Ordered upper wash manifold and connecting screw that holds the wash/rinse fan in place. Knocked out the old rusted screw out of the wash/rinse fan and screwed thus in place using the new parts. It took me about 15 minutes (I'm slow) and cost me about $18. Dishwasher is as good as new. I love youtube! Ordered the part. Arrived the next day. Took the eleven screws off the door exposing the back of the Soap/Rinse Aid dispenser. Six screws hold it on the inside of the door. Popped off easily. There is a plug that runs from the timer to the dispenser…it's a pain to get off. Use a flat head screw driver. Screwed the new unit in place. Plugged it in. Put the door back together. I accidentally caught the door catch in the door and screwed it together seizing it...so I had to take the top screws off... Read more
