This dryer is 9 years old. The dryer heated intermittently, the igniter, flame sensor and all temperature snap switches checked good, continuity. I replaced the gas valve coils and then the gas valve but the problem remained. The problem was the thermistor. A good thermistor reads about 10 ohms, at 70 degrees, with a multimeter, my thermistor read open. With a good thermistor the dryer heats like new.
