The main electronic control center that manages all oven functions including temperature regulation, timing, and cooking modes. Mounted behind the control panel, it should be replaced if the oven won't heat, displays error codes, or responds erratically to control inputs.
Unfortunately, despite some dedicated efforts on the part Audrey Patrick and others, the problem was not solved. I replaced the door hinges, liner and gasket, but none of these solved what I believe is a flawed design. Thankfully, AppliancePartsPros generous return policy allowed me to pursue the repair without risking the cost of failure. My thanks to the company and to all those who were involved. Read more

Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. I searched for the right part that I needed and tracked it down to AppliancePartsPros.Com. I did call and speak to someone in customer service about what would I do if I received the glass door broken, and was told that it is packed well and that shouldn't happen. If it should happen you can return it to us, no problem. Well, 2 days later(with regular shipping) the box was delivered to my doorstep. Removed door , removed old trim piece ( 3 ) screws . Removed and cleaned front door glass and cleaned as well as the rest of the door while I had it off .Reinstalled front panel and new bottom trim. Read more
Used thick pad on kitchen table to hold oven door. Open door to first position (broil) and used soft leather gloves to lift up and remove. Door is heaver than it looks. Used screw driver to remove all screws from bottom and side trims. Removed side trims then bottom trim. It was not part of the repair, but I removed front glass to clean. Ordered replacement part form AppliancePartsPros, which arrived as promised. The repair was as explained in the video. It served me well to photograph the existing wiring prior to changing the part to assure I could rewire the part correctly. Read more
