First of all I followed the troubleshooting chart for no water. Caution, be sure and shut power off when directed, do not skip any steps no matter how basic or obvious you may think they are. The chart led me directly to the chute extension. The micro switch when disconnected and hooked up to the multimeter always remained open, a failed switch.
