Opened the door and removed the set screw on the top left end of the door using a hex wrench. The door was easy to remove from the hinge after the set screw was removed. With the door removed I cleaned around the hinges and removed the years of grease build up. I put a few drops of 3:1 oil in the hinge holes to lubricate them. Finally I installed the new door. Done! Removed unit from wall and took outer shell off, de-energized capacitor and then took a multi-meter and tested all the High voltage parts and magnetron. They tested out fine other than the diode and then I looked at the "Safety" circuit if you will the power loop that goes through door switches and thermostats to energize the High Voltage transformer and magnetron.
