Checked out the video on your site on how to disassemble the ice maker. Was really easy when you know the correct sequence. Only 3 screws and it's out of the freezer. Replaced the motor, however not the easiest to do with the older refrigerators. First I had to remove the shelf that hold the ice bin. There is a small screw midway underneath the tray. Once removed the shelf is loose but still hard to remove. There is a side panel that is slotted andonce removed the shelf can then be removed, but not knowing that it is a very odd fitting unit. I check the appliance parts pro website to find the replacement part and I order the part on a regular delivery (2-5 days) even when I need it ASAP but was 1 am on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and knowing this guys from before I trusted on their delivery speed which was on Saturday. • Fridge too warm

I purchased the defrost heater assembly from your company with the clip. I removed the back panel inside the freezer compartment and proceeded to remove the old defrost heater from the condenser unit. It was very simple and needed really no tools to complete the job. Read more

I pulled out the old housing and unplugged the motor. It pretty much came out in pieces. Remove the plastic from the motor, then had to take a pair of vice grips to hold the spindle in place to remove the auger. Remove what was still attached to the old Housing. Cleaned everything up and put the whole unit back together. The motor looked like it was somewhat cooked but still worked, so I ordered a new motor and auger to replace it.
