Water pooling under your fridge? A cracked evaporator drip pan lets defrost water leak onto your floor. This pan collects meltwater and lets it evaporate safely.
Evaporator pan was cracked and needed replaced. It took longer to pull the fridge away from the wall than to actually replace the pan. Pulled the old one out and slid the new one in place. Replaced the cover on the back and was finished. Read more
Fix ice buildup in freezer and warm fridge temps. This defrost thermostat monitors evaporator temperature to control defrost cycles. DIY-friendly repair.
After watching numerous videos I was able to discern that the problem was with one of the following: the timer, the heater, or the thermostat. a short time check showed me that the timer was working so that narrowed it down to the other two. Not having the necessary tools to check those two I ordered both parts. Once the parts came and I took out the old parts it was quite evident that it was the heater since it had black burn marks on it. I decided to install the thermostat also since it... Read more
This is a small white plastic plug that fills the hinge sleeve hole on a refrigerator or freezer door. It covers unused hinge mounting holes to provide a clean, finished appearance, especially after reversing the door swing. Replace this plug if it has cracked, fallen out, or gone missing, leaving an exposed hole in the door.
Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy. The most irritating part was figuring out what parts to order. The drawing of the refrigerator door (Drawing # 4) used to figure out what parts to order was not clear. I paid $8... Read more
Right-side rail supports and guides your refrigerator's meat or deli drawer for smooth operation. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn to prevent tipping.
Popping the old draw glides off was the toughest part of the job, ad even that was fairly easy, once I noticed the little retaining tabs near the front of the drawer. Pushed in on the tabs, while pushing back on the drawer glide rail and it popped right off. One minor problem I did note: When the rollers were installed on the shoulder screws, they would not turn. One roller just had a burr around the inside edge of the hole. The other the entire bore was a bit undersized, creating a snug fit.... Read more
Fridge clicks or hums but won't cool? A failed start relay prevents the compressor from starting. Simple DIY repair—just pull off and replace.

Center hinge spacer maintains proper door alignment and spacing. Replace if your refrigerator door sags or seal fails. Confirm fit with your model.
This is a replacement screw designed to work with a wide range of household appliances. It is used for many purposes in these appliances, from holding body panels together to securing electronics into control boards. However, screws are subject to damage through corrosion, impact, and improper installation/removal. In most cases, the primary damage to this screw is through corrosion – it may become rusted or corroded in place, depending on the appliance and the maintenance provided during its lifespan. The screw may also be stripped or rounded due to improper removal or installation. If the screw is damaged, lost, or corroded in place, it will need to be replaced. In most cases, removal will require nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver or the appropriately sized socket with a ratchet. However, if the screw is damaged, it may require a tap set to remove it from its mounting location. Note that this is a genuine OEM replacement screw made from durable, high-quality metal, and is sold individually. It fits Whirlpool, Maytag, Roper, Estate, Amana, Crosley, and Thermador appliances. It is used in over 150 machines, ranging from washers and dryers to air conditioners.

Lower hinge pin serves as the pivot shaft for your refrigerator door. Replace this part if worn, bent, broken, or missing to restore smooth door movement.
Temporarily stuck a BMW lug bolt through the bracket and pivot opening to secure the door on the base, then waited just 3 days for the exact parts to come in from AppliancePros. Searching for the appliance model number brought me to the Appliance Pros website where finding the exact parts was quick and easy.
