Basically rebuilt the washer from the ground up. Spent more money than a new washer but we have been so happy with the way this machine has worked over the last 19 years figured it would be money well spent. Read more

This rubber grommet seals and cushions the connection where the front baffle attaches to your washer. It prevents water leaks and reduces vibration noise during operation. Replace this grommet if you notice water leaking from the front panel area or if there's excessive noise during wash cycles.
To start my Maytag MAH8700AWW started making a thumping noise and was eating at the door boot seal. I started doing research and found some folks changed the shocks and springs but had no luck so I thought I would wait it out to see if it would get worse. Sure enough it started to get so loud I thought it was going through the wall. At this point I decided to tear into it. Come to find out the main shaft assembly had broken two out of the three arms that are the main supports for the inner... Read more

This part is subject to deterioration over time, which will cause the control board to go bad and prevent the washing machine cycles from functioning properly. Unplug the washer and disconnect the water source before attempting any replacements. Wear work gloves to prevent injuries from occurring. This part is manufactured by Whirlpool and has been sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This control board is manufactured from high-quality, durable, non-corrosive materials. It is an authentic replacement part and thus is compatible with washing machines manufactured by Whirlpool, Amana, Jenn-Air, Admiral, Norge, and Maytag.

The drive motor powers the drum, agitator, or other moving components depending on the appliance. Use this kit if the original motor has burned out, hums but won't run, or the appliance has stopped moving or spinning entirely.
I had watched some videos on youtube to understand how to disassemble & gain access to the various washer components & their location. Very easy. I reviewed the diagnostic procedures that were present near the control board, followed the directions to remove the main plug from the motor control board, which should allow the washer to spin at 50 rpm. No spin, & upon closer inspection, I observed that one of the phase drive... Read more
