The microwave cooling fan motor circulates air to prevent the magnetron and other internal components from overheating during operation. Replace if the microwave overheats, makes unusual noises, displays error messages, or shuts down unexpectedly during use.
The hardest part of the job was removing and lifting the built in oven out of the cabinet. Once it was out of the cabinet we had to remove the metal panel to reach the blower motor. I had searched all over the internet for the correct oven rack with no success. Then I found Appliance Parts Pros. Searching on their website for the oven model number produced 0 results. But, I called them and the lady I spoke with was extremely helpful. To explain, the oven model number on the stove was somewhat worn and hard to read and I misread a S for a 5 and a 0 for a Q.
