The Wall Oven Capacitor Motor is an OEM part for GE wall ovens. Located inside the oven cavity, this motor is responsible for turning the convection fan which circulates hot air for even baking and roasting.
Symptoms of a bad capacitor motor include:
Causes of failure can be wear over time, damage from debris inside the oven, or occasional voltage fluctuations which can degrade motor components.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
With the support of Appliance Parts Pros, I ordered 3 parts (plus glass stove top cleaner) that were suspected to be the cause of the problem for a total of $49.59. Easily replaced the Range Oven Sensor, $15.91, at the back of the interior oven & that was it! All oven features work fine & my wife set the oven for the clean cycle earlier today. So far, so good! Thanks for your help! Would recommend Appliance Parts Pros to anyone. Read more
The gas supply tube delivers gas from the main line to the range burners and is located behind or underneath the unit. Replace if you smell gas, notice uneven flame patterns, or if the tube shows signs of corrosion or damage during inspection.
Bought a Thermador PRSE48" dual fuel range from Craigslist really cheap because it didn't work. Did a little research and decided to overhaul most of the top (gas) end. For what I paid for it it was worth it and I'd have a good stove with new components. Replaced the griddle thermostat, ignition micro switches, ignition re-igniter box, installed fixing kit with 2 new potentiometers, both solenoids, and gas regulator. Had to replace 2 gas lines, all 4 jets, and one brass nut that were... Read more

I watched a few videos on youtube to get some ideas as to what the problem may be. I pulled out the stove from the wall and DISCONNECTED THE POWER - thats very important. I took a picture of the burneer connections, so I would know how to reconnect the wires later. I removed the broken burner, and check visually for any broken areas in the coil. There were none visible. Next, using multimeter, I checked for continuity. The meter indicated that there was no continuity through the... Read more
Replaces the false bottom panel that covers the lower oven interior. Needed when the original is discolored, warped, burnt, or damaged beyond cleaning.
Replaced it with a new one. Had to remove the oven door which was straight forward. The door's a little heavy so be sure to get a good hold and have a place prepared to set the door while you replace the bottom. False bottom simply slides in and out. Reinstalling the door is a little trickier than removing it. Mine was the bottom oven so I couldn't see the hinges align with oven slots. It helped to have some guide the hinges into the slots and confirm they were correctly set. Read more

Gas supply tube connects gas line to range burners. Replace if cracked, kinked, damaged, or leaking. Installs between supply valve and burner assembly.
First and foremost, don't believe everything you see on Youtube. In order to get to the gas solenoid that feeds the burner you MUST take the entire top off that side of the range. Remove the grates and burner tops. You will see 2x 20mm brass nut, or so it appears, that hold each burner in place on the splash/drip pan. It is not just a nut, it is a venturi that threads down into what is called the jet holder. You may get a socket on it and think you are getting it loose but, more than likely you... Read more

Using the website, I looked at the schematics and guessed which parts I'd need. I chatted with an associate, who confirmed the requirements. He also sent a PDF on how to take the old parts off. I'm not mechanically inclined, but the effort went flawlessly. Thanks for the parts and help! Read more
