GE dishwasher started leaking 6 months out of warranty, naturally (buy another brand). Repairman said this model is discontinued, we can't get parts. Turned off the water supply. Removed the two screws at the top of the dishwasher. Pulled it out and removed the plug for power. Noticed the drain hose was split causing the problem. Had to dry the whole area before reinstalling. This took a couple days. Replaced the hose with a new one. Ordered the part online on Tuesday and received it Thursday at 9:00 am. When I called a local repair shop they said it sounded like the main control panel and it would cost over $200.00 to repair. I bought the replacement part for $100.00 and installed it in about 1/2 an hour. Got the part fast, works great and that works out to $200.00 an hour for my labor! Read more
