Not the first time my 10 year old dishwasher developed a leak. I have learned that the tub gasket gets dirty and the gasket spring gets weak. Cleaning and if needed replacing that solves the problem. Ordered a new flood switch and activation stem from Aplliance Parts Pros.com. Order was delivered in about 3 days. Installed new switch and stem in about 15 min. Removed front kicker panel with two screws, the switch was just inside the panel secured with two screws. remove the electrical connector, removed screws, replace the two new parts..put the screws back in place and ran the washer...no overflows. Removed upper basket out of dishwasher by removing slide arm stops. Turned basket upside down and removed broken parts. Took 5 minutes to take apart and put back together. Read more
This kit is used to repair a leaking pump on GE made dishwashers. For a complete pump/motor assembly get WD26X10013.

My repair went really great! I now have a new automatic soap dispenser that costs me only $60 to buy the part. I guess I would have paid at least $150 if not more to have a repair guy come in and do it but the video was just amazing! I did it myself and my husband could not believe it!
