Disconnected dishwasher and moved it out from under the counter. Found that the left side door spring cable was not connected to the spring. The plastic end of the cable was broken off. It was a simple fix with the new part, however, why would any manufacture us a plastic part on an important part of a steel cable? Read more

The main conduit was broken and the pump connector had a hole in it. The pump also was showing signs of leaking. I completely disassembled the dishwasher cleaned everything and reassembled. The repair videos are a big help. Thank you. Read more

Replaced hinges. Hinges mounting holes were not threaded. Needed to tap holes with 10-24 tap. Read more

I used lime away, vinegar, finish washer cleaner none of them worked. Finally just use Brillo on the entire cabinet interior. It came out very clean. Only needed very light scrubbing. Then replaced the severely corroded filters Riser tube and upper jet which was not turning. After this the upper arm turned perfectly silverware and glassware and silverware came out rinse very clean. Will do preventative maintenance in the future. The inlet sump was deteriorating and pieces of it were clogging the spray arms. The gasket/seal on the bottom of the door was also deteriorated and clogging the filters. That seal was only available on a new inner door. It took a few hours because of the new inner door and I was taking my time doing extra cleaning and such.
