Since it is difficult to get to the fans, I decided to replace both and avoid any future problems. I ordered the evap and duct fan motors and replaced both. I ordered the fans expecting it to take a week for delivery. They arrived the next day. The problem was most likely the evaporator fan motor but it could have been a bad blade, loose parts or bad motor mounts. Hard to tell without taking everything apart and inspecting. Since fridge was 17 years old I decided to order the entire evaporator fan assembly as shown in the parts diagram including fan blade, motor brackets, motor, motor mounts, screws, etc. Getting to the assembly involved removing the ice maker unit plus the entire rear inside of the freezer section. It took more time to find the correct part than it did to make the repair. I took the Dairy Shelf out of the refrigerator door by lifting it up about 1 inch and pulling it out. The Dairy Door has two round tabs on it, one on each side, that fit into round cut-outs on the Dairy Shelf. I lined up the new Dairy Door with the Dairy Shelf to determine which side is up and fit the Dairy Door tabs into the Dairy Shelf slots and finally into the round cut-outs.
