Great instructional videos. Thanks Read more

Fix no ice dispensing or plastic shavings in ice. This ice bucket assembly collects and stores ice from your ice maker. DIY replacement in minutes.
I broke the ice bucket when the problem first started as I kept trying to get the ice out of the dispenser. I replaced the Icemaker Asembly in less than 5 minutes, 1 screw and that was that. Everything works great and my dispenser is back in action. I did have a repair man come out to correctly diagnose the issue as the parts were expensive and I wanted to make sure it was not a leak somewhere, but indeed the mechanism. He charged me 40 to confirm the issue and I ordered the parts. Could... Read more

Ordered the spring and plastic liner from Appliance Pro's. No tools were needed to install the spring and liner, but it did take a little patience to get it installed. BTW, I ordered the part from Appliance Pro's in the evening and received it in the mail two days later. They were incredibly fast! They were excellent and one of only two or three places on the internet that carried the correct parts. Read more
Ice dispenser paddle broken or won't close? This ice chute door and funnel assembly fixes stuck or damaged dispensers. Moderate DIY, 30-45 minutes.
Disconnect the power to the fridge. First remove the control panel by removing the one screw underneath and then insert a screwdriver into the small square hole underneath in order to pull the lower left of the control panel towards you. You are pulling against a plastic clip and you need to pull fairly hard. Once the lower left clip is free the other three come unclipped fairly easily. At this point it will make life easier if you unclip the wiring connector from the control panel and put it... Read more

Third, verified automatic water valve was functioning correctly by connecting supply line directly to automatic water valve. With the filter, water supply, and automatic water valve eliminated as problems, the filter head was identified as the problem by process... Read more
Replacement water reservoir assembly for refrigerators. Stores water for dispenser and ice maker. Replace if cracked, leaking, or frozen to restore proper flow.
Found water reservoir had frozen solid and had cracked (no idea yet why it froze). I had previously fixed a frozen drain from the cooler by wrapping 12 Ga bare copper wire around the heater element and routing into the drain hole and that was working and clear. So I ordered and replaced both water reservoir and water reservoir heater in case the heater was not working fully. Very Easy to fix by removing vegetable drawer and shelves.
