The Hinge Assembly is an OEM part for Frigidaire ranges. This part allows the oven door to open and close smoothly while providing a secure attachment to the range body.

I replaced the hinges. The door just slides up, after opening it slightly. Each hinge is held by three screws, and has a spring hooked to the inboard end. After removing the screws, I pulled hard on the hinge, to get the spring hook exposed. The long tang, on the spring, allowed me to hook the new hinge onto the spring, before unhooking the old hinge. I ordered the insulation kit for the range. Completely dismantled the range. Had to remove the remaining insulation. Then removed all evidence of the mice infestation. Scrubbed and deodorized the oven shell, covered all holes and entry places in the back and bottom with stainless steel screen. Very easy fix. Lifted off the grill and burner. Unscrewed 2 screws. Pulled the burner pan up and off. Disconnected the wire to the igniter. Used needle nosed pliers to remove the clip holding the igniter in place. Removed the gasket from the old burner pan. Placed the new igniter in the hole of the new burner pan and slipped the old clip on the igniter to hold it in place. Then put the old gasket on the new burner pan. Unplugged stove shut off gas supply. Removed top off stove and removed igniter/gas orifice housing buy unscrewing gas line.
