Fix a microwave turntable that won't spin or turns intermittently. This motor drives the glass tray for even heating. DIY repair in 20 minutes or less.
Ordered the turntable motor. Removed the bottom panel of the microwave to gain access, removed the old motor and replaced it with the new one. Easy peasy! Read more
Controls airflow in your microwave's venting system. Installs in the duct assembly to regulate steam and moisture release. Replace if cracked or missing.
This damper was added to the outside vent duct line as an additional block against outside air intrusion. Under spousal orders I had just changed the microwave vent to the outside (the proper way to go, but much more difficult to accomplish) but then there was some "flowback" when the wind was pressing against the back of the house (westward facing), and I was ordered to reduce this flow before the winter arrived in full force. There is this same damper on the microwave unit itself, but I... Read more
Grease filter for range hoods and over-the-range microwaves. Dimensions: 5-1/16" x 7-5/8" x 3/32" (5.0625 x 7.625 x 0.09375). Rectangle shape. Captures grease from cooking air. Replace when clogged, discolored, or every 6-12 months.

Microwave runs but doesn't heat? The magnetron generates microwave energy to cook food. Replacing a failed magnetron restores heating performance.
I was ready to ditch this microwave as I have been through this before with the same brand but I could not locate a suitable replacement at a reasonable cost. I opened it up, tested the components directly related to the microwave side of the oven (YouTube is your friend and be careful if you are unfamiliar with high voltage electronics; also you need to be somewhat adept at the disassembling process (and reassembling also)) and was unable to pinpoint a culprit. I don't like shotgunning... Read more
If your microwave won't start when the door is closed, the door latch may be broken. This latch activates the door switch. Takes about 20 minutes to replace.
It was a fairly easy repair. I lifted the door off and removed the inside cover and some screws to get to the door latch. It fit and worked perfectly and only took about 20 minutes to complete. Read more
Replace a missing, bent, or damaged convection oven rack in your microwave. Provides a stable cooking surface for baking and roasting in convection mode.
Replaced grill and twist on grill supports. Stopped shorting and works fine now. Read more
Microwave not heating or cooking food? A failed magnetron is the likely cause. This high-voltage tube generates microwave energy for heating and cooking.
This was much easier than I expected. First and foremost discharge the capacitor, google has the instructions. The diagnosis was also easy, really just 3 parts, the Magnetron, the Capacitor, and the Diode. With a simple multimeter measuring the resistance I was able to determine the Magnetron had shorted out and the diode was bad. I replaced all three components which fixed my issue. Read more
Complete mounting hardware kit for installing over-the-range microwaves. Includes brackets and fasteners to secure unit above cooktop. Replace missing or damaged parts.
Bought the installation kit above with all the hardware and screws needed to install. About half the price as the manufacturer. Read more
Nonstick metal tray for microwave/convection models. Replaces warped, worn, or missing trays to restore stable food placement and even cooking results.
Ordered the trays from Appliance Parts Pros. Read more
Mounting hardware kit for over-the-range microwaves. Includes screws, nuts, and washers to secure microwave during installation. Replace missing hardware.
The NTC thermistor is a temperature sensor located near the microwave's magnetron that monitors internal temperature for proper cooking control. Replace when food cooks unevenly, the microwave overheats, shuts off unexpectedly, or displays temperature-related error codes.
This is a small synchronous motor used in microwave ovens to drive components such as the turntable or air damper. It operates at a steady rotational speed to ensure consistent movement during cooking. Replace this motor if the turntable stops spinning, rotates intermittently, or if you hear a humming noise without any movement.
Ordered the new motor and upon arrival, installed it. The only concern I had was that the motor I ordered was not specified for this model (Panasonic), but for a General Electric. (I could not locate one specified for the model I had). However, the specs for the new GE motor were exactly the same, so I took a chance and as it turned out, worked out well. Read more
This humidity sensor detects moisture levels inside the microwave cavity during cooking, allowing the control board to automatically adjust cook time and power. It is typically mounted inside the cooking compartment or vent area. Replace this sensor if your microwave's auto-cook or sensor-cook modes no longer work correctly, food is consistently overcooked or undercooked, or the unit displays a sensor error code.
Fixes weak ventilation, excessive noise, or overheating in your microwave. This blower wheel restores proper airflow to clear steam and cool components.
Replaced the fan blade. Read more
This micro switch is a small electromechanical door/control switch that restores reliable on/off signaling for your appliance. Replacing a failed switch helps restore normal operation and safety interlocks. What it does:
This AC fan motor drives the cooling fan inside a microwave or combination cooking unit, circulating air to prevent internal components from overheating during operation. It helps protect the magnetron, control board, and other electronics by dissipating heat. If your microwave overheats frequently, shuts off mid-cycle, or you no longer hear the cooling fan running, this motor likely needs replacement.
