I ordered the Evaporator assembly for my model (Samsung RB1855SL/XAC) and upon receiving the assembly I dismantled the element from the cooling assembly by bending back the aluminium tabs. I then replaced the existing element with the new one and realigned the aluminium tabs, plugged in the new element, fuse link and sensor. This meant I didn't have to discharge and recharge the cooling system. Everything seems to work great now. Thanks Read more
Had to take the defroster apart from the evaporator since they don't sell them seperatly, that was the only downfall but with their easy to read diagrams it was easy to get the right parts I needed and trust me when I say I'm no refrigeration pro! Read more
This plate assembly provides structural mounting and support for various refrigerator components. It serves as a base or bracket for internal parts and helps maintain proper positioning within the appliance. Replace this assembly if components are loose, misaligned, or if the plate shows signs of damage or corrosion.
Removed upper frig & lower freezer back evaporator covers to get to the frost buildup on the evaporator assembly. They had an insulating foam... Read more
This water fill tube delivers fresh water from the supply line to your ice maker during the ice-making cycle. It ensures proper water flow and positioning for optimal ice cube formation. Replace this tube if your ice maker produces hollow, malformed, or no ice cubes, or if you notice water leaking inside the freezer compartment.
Replaced ice maker assembly because ice was always presented like crushed ice instead of cubes. Still had icing issue, so hit reset and watched water as it cycled to fill ice tray. Water dripped from tube outside of nozzle. Pulled refrigerator away from wall and removed cover of water supply tube. The tube had broken into two pieces allowing water to slip past and drip into freezer compartment. Replaced tube in about 15 minutes and we have no icing issues anymore Read more
This ice maker assembly is the complete ice-making unit that freezes water into ice cubes and automatically harvests them into your freezer's ice bin. It includes the freezing mechanism, harvest motor, and control components needed for ice production. Replace this part if your refrigerator stops making ice entirely, produces malformed ice cubes, or if the ice maker makes unusual noises but doesn't produce ice.
Went to “you tube” for instructions. The advice was great . Read more
